The Civic Museum of Natural History, was founded in 1970, is based in the sixteenth century Palazzo Amalteo to Silvia Zenari, the most famous naturalist from Pordenone. In November 14, 2007 it has been named the Museum during a ceremony deeply felt by the institutions. It preserves significant natural collections, a section dedicated to technology and an important collection of naval models of various ages.
